Sub-processors
Vendors and platforms Mortgage Broker Hub relies on to deliver the payslip service.
This page lists the third-party service providers ("sub-processors") that Mortgage Broker Hub uses to help provide, secure and support our Service.
These sub-processors may process personal data on our behalf, for example to host our infrastructure, process uploaded documents, provide AI capabilities, or handle payments.

1. Infrastructure and hosting
Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited)
- Role: Cloud infrastructure and hosting provider
- Location of main services used: EU regions (data processing occurs exclusively within the European Union)
- Specific services: Cloud hosting, databases, storage, backups and general infrastructure services
- Purpose: Hosting the Mortgage Broker Hub application, storing uploaded documents and extracted data, and providing supporting infrastructure services
- Data residency: All personal data, including Client Data, is processed and stored exclusively in EU data centres and is not transferred outside the European Union
2. AI and document processing
Google Cloud Platform – Vertex AI
- Role: AI infrastructure platform
- Location: EU regions only
- Purpose: Provides access to AI models used to process and extract data from uploaded documents (e.g. payslips) as part of the Service
Google – Gemini Pro 2.5 (accessed via Vertex AI)
- Role: AI model provider
- Location: Processing occurs within EU regions via Vertex AI
- Purpose: Processes text and document content (such as payslips) to extract relevant information and support generation of structured outputs (e.g. income summaries, data for reports)
- Access method: We access Gemini Pro 2.5 through Google Cloud Platform's Vertex AI service as part of Google's managed AI infrastructure
- Data usage: Our configuration and agreement with Google Cloud Platform prohibits the use of Client Data for training Google's AI models. Data processed through Vertex AI is used solely to generate outputs for immediate use and is not retained by Google for model improvement or training purposes
These AI and cloud providers act as our sub-processors. They are contractually required to protect personal data and only process it on our instructions and for the purposes of providing their services to us.
3. Payments and billing
Stripe, Inc. and Stripe Payments UK, Ltd.
- Role: Payment processor and billing platform
- Purpose: Processing subscription payments, managing billing, and handling payment-related information
- Notes: Stripe acts as an independent controller for some payment data (e.g. card details). For more information, please see Stripe's own privacy and security documentation at https://stripe.com/privacy
4. Other service providers
From time to time we may use additional third-party providers for:
- Customer support and communication tools
- Email delivery and notification services
- Monitoring, logging and security
- General IT and administrative support
These providers may change over time. Where they process personal data on our behalf, they are bound by appropriate contractual and security obligations and are treated as sub-processors.

5. Data protection safeguards
All sub-processors are required to:
- Process personal data only on our documented instructions
- Implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures
- Maintain confidentiality of personal data
- Assist us in responding to data subject rights requests
- Notify us of any personal data breaches
- Delete or return personal data when no longer needed for the specified purposes
Where sub-processors are located outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. As our infrastructure is hosted exclusively within the European Union, transfers from the UK to the EU benefit from the UK's adequacy decision for the EU under UK GDPR.
6. Updates to this list
We may add, remove or replace sub-processors as our Service evolves.
- We will update this page when we make material changes to our sub-processor list.
- Where required under our agreements with you, we will also provide advance notice of material changes (for example by email or via the Service), giving you an opportunity to raise questions or concerns.
